In a creative and powerful branding move, STA Travel has collaborated with creatives, Rick Mereki and Tim White to create an artistic series of shorts to inspire people to travel. Featuring “actor, mover, groover”, Andrew Lees, the series “Move”, “Learn”, and “Eat” artfully depicts the adventure, excitement, and beauty in truly seeing and experiencing the world.
The series has deservedly gone viral in its poignant, though brief, glimpse at what life could be like for a young traveller exploring the world. STA Travel successfully connects with the viewers through influential artists of the viewers’ generation, and in doing so, improves their own brand affinity with their target audience. For anyone still looking for reasons why Google is one of the most reputable and trusted companies in the U.S., you are looking at part of it. Google (like Apple, Nike, and other top brands), has mastered the art of communicating how its product can make a meaningful impact on the lives of its users — that’s what it’s all about after all. Google has transcended being simply a product that is logically better - it is a product and brand that is a deep part of people’s lives. Once brands have created this emotional bridge between their product and the people, the position they hold within the consumers’ minds and hearts is much deeper and more meaningful. The art of storytelling makes a world of difference.
