Interactive touch interfaces have been the talk of the town lately, and Corningware just inspired more chatter with its beautifully executed video, ”A Day Made of Glass”, which shares Corningware’s vision for the future of specialty glass, featuring eye-opening seamless digital experiences. TAT did a similar concept video back in September and Razorfish used Microsoft Surfaces to showcase their interactive interface technology as well.

The possibilities have been made clear through these concept videos, and the seamless integration of digital into daily life around the material, Corningware glass, definitely opens minds to the best medium through which these digital interactions will take place. The transparency of glass makes it a natural shoo-in for these experiences; however it will be interesting to see how designers and engineers will be able to create technologically enabled glass!
